I hail from the Far East of the world map…Well, South East Asia to be exact. Travelling IS my passion. As a child, I did not have the opportunity to travel as my family simply couldn’t afford it. Now that I’m earning my own fulus ($), I travel the world to get acquainted with the world’s diverse culture. Travel enriches your soul. Broadens your mind. And if you are a Believer, it brings you closer to Allah as you will be reminded of how great Allah’s creation is. SubhanaAllah!

Allaah SWT says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Say: Travel in the land and see how (Allaah) originated the creation, and then Allaah will bring forth the creation of the Hereafter (i.e. resurrection after death). Verily, Allaah is Able to do all things”

Al-Qur’an, Surah Al-‘Ankaboot 29:20

I love reading peoples’ insights on travels. Besides that, I love reading about Ibn Batutta (1304-1377), the great traveller and explorer whose account documents his travels and excursions over a period of almost thirty years, covering some 117,000 km. These journeys covered almost the entirety of the known Islamic world.

This blog will serve as a platform for me to blog my travel thoughts and perhaps, my travel experiences and pictures too.

Last but not least, I hope to be able to travel the world as long as I am in good health, InshaAllah.
